Hand picked clusters were de-stemmed and then hand sorted at the winery ensuring only the best fruit was used for this blend. The wine was left in barrel in its individual components for 9 months and then blended together for a further 14 months of elevage. New and neutral oak barrels were used (80% French and 20% American, 28% of which was new). The wine was then blended into tank where it aged an additional 2 months.
