Adega on 45th Winery (2020) Malbec is drop-dead gorgeous and beautifully balanced. Dry, medium-bodied and a deep, dark blood red in the glass, it is rich on the nose with pronounced aromas of cocoa, black currant, blue florals, violets, candied cherry, and dark berry flavours. Lush, fresh, and lingering on the palate, tannins are fine, chalky-textured and smooth. Enjoy it now through 2028.
Produced from 100% Malbec grapes, whole cluster pressed and fermented in stainless-steel tank. The wine was aged for 14 months in French oak barrels. Tasted November 2025 with a perfect pairing of cocoa-rubbed braised lamb shanks.
