51% Merlot, 32% Carmenère, 13% Syrah, 4% Gamay. Intense and tangy with floral notes, strawberry, kiwi and watermelon on the nose. Palate reveals underlying spicy rhubarb, savoury herbs and a chalky texture.

Farm Notes: Sagebrush Vineyard

Maker Notes: A portion of the Merlot and the Syrah were whole cluster direct pressed into stainless steel where the juice underwent stabulation for 5 days (stirring of the juice lees) before co-fermenting using carefully selected yeast. The remaining Merlot and the Carménère were destemmed and left on skins for 2 hours before pressing to extract colour. The 4% Gamay Noir was added post fermentation to lift the fruit and to add colour and texture to the final blend.
