Our signature Rhone White; An exceptional food-pairing wine.

Tasting Notes: Bright pale yellow gold, clean. Prominent peach and apricot fruit, savoury, white pepper notes in the background, warming the finish. Whole bunch pressed, fermented in neutral French oak barrels, and aged on lees for 6 months.

83.8% Viognier, 16.2% Marsanne.

Farm Notes: Sourced entirely from Intersection's estate vineyards, the fruit was harvested on October 12th and 13th, with Viognier picked across both days and Marsanne harvested on October 13th. The grapes were crushed, destemmed, and pressed, although a portion of the Viognier destined for our Mile's Edge and single-varietal Viognier wines was whole-cluster pressed. With a record Viognier harvest of 14.6 tons, we adapted our approach for this blend to maximize press capacity, resulting in a gentle extraction that contributed a subtle tannin structure.

The wine was fermented and aged in a combination of one new Nadalie puncheon, two second-fill Sirugue barriques, and selected neutral French oak barrels, giving us a broad range of components to work with in the final blend. This vintage also marked the first time we fermented one lot of Viognier with ICV D47 yeast. While Rhône 4600 is typically our preferred strain for these varieties, the exceptional size of the harvest required us to adapt.

Maker Notes: Viognier is thriving in the South Okanagan, where the soils and growing conditions of our vineyard are exceptionally well suited to the variety. Marsanne, a close Rhône Valley relative of Viognier, is traditionally used as a blending grape, but we value it for the structure, savoury complexity, and richness it brings to the vibrant aromatics and freshness of Viognier. It is equally compelling on its own as it is in this blend.

Together, these two varieties form our flagship white wine—a blend crafted to showcase expressive aromatics, layered texture, and remarkable versatility, while offering the structure and balance to reward careful cellaring.
