We are not sure the age of this Non-Vintage Cipes Rose, but the Bateman series is almost 20 years old now. We've cracked open the wine library as our gift to you for the Holidays! Enjoy this beauty to celebrate this winter.

Tasting Notes: Surprisingly still very fruity for this older sparkling straight from our wine library. Lots of cranberries, blackberries, blueberries and other black and red fruits, with a touch of hazelnut. Very fine bubbles due to its age, but with still a nice fresh acidity for this dry masterpiece honouring the nature artist Robert Bateman.

Farm Notes: Made from grapes grown in organic Okanagan vineyards especially suited for sparkling wine production.

Maker Notes: All varieties were whole-cluster pressed to extract the most delicate juice. The wine fermented dry in stainless steel tanks before blending and bottling to undergo secondary fermentation in the traditional method. It then rested sur lie for seven years, resulting in incredible depth and complexity. After disgorging, a red wine dosage was added.

Food Pairing Notes: A delicious match for poached salmon, roasted chicken or light tapas.
