Tasting Notes: A clear, bright medium-plus apricot colour in the glass. Medium-plus intensity aromas of ripe stone fruits a hint of honey, plus a touch of oranges and sweet spices with swirling. Very fruity aromas (esters). This wine is dry, medium-minus body with a lean, soft mouthfeel. Lighter tannins and medium acidity. Medium-plus flavour intensity of dried stone fruits, peach skin and a touch of oranges. A medium-plus length finishing off with the dried stone fruits, peach skin and some bitter peach pit. Lightly drying tannins and medium acidity on the finish. Which dishes would I suggest enjoying with this wine? Washed rind cheeses (e.g., Taleggio, Époisses) their funkiness matches the wine's fruit and spice complexity. Farm Notes: Terroir - Salish Sea: Soils consisting of sandy gravelly marine over sandy gravelly morainal leading to schistic clay at 12-16' depths. Elevation sloping 3° seaward.
