Soleil Rosé Traditional Sparkling, crafted from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, naturally creates elegant mousse-like bubbles. This delightful wine offers vibrant flavors of berries and exotic lychee, perfect for celebrating life, love, and the timeless message that Love is Love.

Awards Notes: 91 pts - David Lawrason: This is an off-dry (extra brut) pale pink/copper shaded rose with a fairly generous nose of cherry pit, red currant, melon and florals. It is a blend of pinot noir, chardonnay and a Blattner hybrid called epicure, aka sauvignette. These varieties show up fairly often on Vancouver Island. It is light bodied, tight, lively and well balanced (11%) with a hint of sweetness softening the edged. Good grip and intensity with excellent length. Almost austere but very interesting, so govern yourself accordingly. Tasted May 2026

Tasting Notes: A radiant expression of elegance and finesse, Soleil Rosé delights with a delicate ballet of aromas and flavors. The nose opens with wild strawberries, raspberries, and a whisper of rose petals, intertwined with hints of toasted brioche and citrus zest from extended lees aging. On the palate, fine bubbles dance alongside vibrant red berry notes, layered with crisp apple, pomegranate, and a touch of creamy almond. A refreshing minerality and bright acidity lead to a long, refined finish with a touch of brioche and a kiss of pink grapefruit.

Farm Notes: 2022 was off to a very slow start with unusually cool temperatures and higher precipitation but recovered by June bringing dry warm weather through to the end of October to allow high brix with zero disease. The average sunlight was between 14-16 hours during the growing period with an average monthly precipitation of 3.6cm.

Maker Notes: Traditional Method. Primary fermentation. in stainless steel (EC1118) until dry. Held on lees through cold stabilization. Racked and filtered to secondary fermentation in bottle. Tirage aged 12 months. Riddled disgorged, dosage with 5% Pinot Noir to create beautiful pink bubbles.

Food Pairing Notes: Bright, elegant bubbles pair beautifully with oysters, prawns, crab, smoked salmon, and salmon tartare. Lovely with soft cheeses like goat cheese, Brie, or burrata, plus light charcuterie. Crisp acidity cuts through fried foods, while red-berry notes complement herb-roasted chicken, seafood pastas, and fresh berry desserts.
