2021 Organic Syrah
Tasting Notes: Rich, fruity and smooth for this splendid wine around notes of dark cherries, dark fruits, and black pepper with a hint of violet and some tantalizing notes of charred meats and velvety mocha, all seamlessly weaved together. Beautifully balanced with velvety tannins and just enough acidity to make you salivate and keep going back for more. A gorgeous Syrah absolutely beautiful now and that can mature in your cellar for quite a few more years.
Farm Notes: Organic Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes were hand harvested from Sehkon Family Vineyard (Osoyoos, BC). 2021 was a warm and dry growing season in the Okanagan Valley, yielding red wines with intense fruitiness and tannins.
Maker Notes: 92% Organic Syrah, 5% Organic Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Organic Merlot
The wine fermented in a 10,000L oak foudre. It was then racked into neutral oak barrels where it rested for 18 months before bottling.
Food Pairing Notes: Perfect on its own, for your summer BBQs or with a roasted leg of lamb or some grilled lamb chops!
