Tasting Notes: Lemon and lime pith, pear, cantaloup and a hint of oak. A smooth finish balanced by fresh acidity.
Farm Notes: The Park Hill vineyard was first planted North of Oliver tucked away in the hills in 1983 by Hans Buchler. The family run vineyard puts a focus on cover cropping and minimizing inputs; soil fertility is provided by cover crops, including hairy vetch, red and white clover, birdshot trefoil, black medic, sainfoin, and more.
Maker Notes: Hand picked and delivered to the winery on September 22nd, 2023, the grapes were destemmed, pressed and allowed to settle for an initial racking. Inoculated in stainless steel and transferred to 500L second and third use oak puncheons 24 hours after inoculation, the wine was fermented entirely in oak with full malolactic conversion before it was racked out, fined, filtered, and bottled.
