55% Syrah, 17% Merlot, 13% CS, 11% Carmenère, 4% Cabernet Franc. Aromas of ripe dark fruit with plum, black currant, sage, and black pepper. It’s big and wide on the palate with plush velvet like tannins. Very attractive mouthfeel, with a long lingering finish.

Farm Notes: Sagebrush, Domaine Artema Vineyard
Maker Notes: The fruit was hand-picked and destemmed before fermentation began in stainless steel tanks using carefully selected strains of yeast. Twice daily pump overs were done to extract tannin and colour before the wine was pressed off and racked to a combination of neutral French oak barrel (36%) and stainless steel (64%) and aged for 16 months. Fermented and aged separately to allow each lot to showcase its true essence, all lots were blended prior to bottling.
