Tasting Notes: A soft and fruity blend that has benefitted from bottle aging. Fresh, light and bright wine that’s benefitted from age showing savoury complexity with some black licorice and start anise notes, and integrating its tannins and oak character into a smooth, harmonious, complex wine. Decanting recommended.
Farm Notes: Made from organically grown grapes lovingly cultivated at Sekhon Family Vineyard in Osoyoos, BC and Knollvine Farm in Okanagan Falls, BC. 2009 was a warmer vintage, yielding red wines of power and concentration.
Maker Notes: The wine aged for 28 months in a combination of new and neutral French and American oak barrels before blending and bottling.
Food Pairing Notes: Try with pot roast, shepherd’s pie, or hard cheeses.
