Summit represents the pinnacle of everything we do at Mt. Boucherie. Our most cherished blocks from our estate vineyards are treated with the velvet gloves by Winemaker Jeff Hundertmark. The best barrels of the given vintage are selected after approximately 12 months, and then blended together for up to an additional year to develop in barrel. Farm Notes: The 2019 Summit is a blend of premium blocks from Lost Horn Vineyard in Okanagan Falls, South Rock Vineyard on the Golden Mile Bench, and Lazy River Vineyard in South Cawston.
Maker Notes: A wine filled with rich aromas and flavours of cassis, red fruit, cedar, and distinct mineral character. Summit is a great addition to any cellar and will reward those with patience, developin further complexity over the next decade. Aged in 100% French oak for 24 months, 35% of which was new. October 4th-October 31st
