PTG is a long standing Burgundian acronym for a practice called "passetoutgrains", which loosely translates to "throw all the grapes in". This field blend of Pinot Noir, Gamay Noir, and Pinot Gris were crushed into tank together where they underwent full Carbonic Maceration (natural fermentation under a blanket of CO2). This technique provides a fresh, fruit- forward, and lighter style red wine. It then spent 6 months in second-use French oak puncheons where the various components were able to fully integrate, creating a polished, intentional example of the style.

Farm Notes: Lazy River takes its name from the Similkameen River that winds through the bottom of this vineyard. Located about 10 km from the American border, this vineyard is warm enough for producing ripe fruit for the red varieties,
Maker Notes: This vintage of PTG showcases the true spirit of the wine style: one that is eminently quaffable and unapologetically light-bodied. The pale and translucent colour belies the structure and fresh fruit from the Gamay, the spiced complexity lent by the Pinot Noir, and the weighty mouthfeel offered by the Pinot Gris component.
